Sharod Boyd, Jr.

Sunrise: March 21, 2016

Sunset: October 14, 2020

On Wednesday, October 14 we lost the kindness, sweetest most gentle soul with the passing of Sharod Stephone Boyd Jr.

Sharod Jr., affectionately known as “Ju Ju” was born on March 21, 2016 to Sheri C. Morgan and Sharod Stephone Boyd Sr, both of Chesapeake, Virginia. Sharod Jr. was a happy loving jolly child. Each day with him was a blessing and a wonderful gift.  Every day of his life was filled with excitement! He was exposed to all the world had to offer; nature, parks the aquarium and all the places that would open up a world of imagination and exploration for him and broaden his knowledge of the world.

Sharod Jr.  loved to have fun. Running in the park, being tickled, watching the fish at the aquarium and wrestling. He also liked watching cartoons and his favorites were Mickey Mouse, Kid City and Sonic Tales. He loved electronics and was rarely seen without his IPad.

Sharod Jr. touched the lives of so many; our beloved, shining, happy little boy, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts. Even now he leaves us smiling through our tears. Though he did not live many years on earth, he deeply touched the hearts of those who knew him. He will forever live in our hearts. Sharod Jr. was baptized on October 14, 2020, so we know he is preparing a place for us.

Sharod Jr. was predeceased by his paternal great grandfather Leander Artis and maternal great grandparents Ruth and David Lee Boyd. Sharod Jr.  leaves to cherish his memory, his father Sharod Stephone Boyd, Sr., his mother Sheri C. Morgan, a sister ShanTerria Boyd, paternal grandparents Sharon and Perry Blanchard, Marcus and Deborah Anderson, and his maternal grandparents Carolyn and Derrick Williams.

Because of his delightful, adventurous, and loving nature he will be missed dearly by a host of great aunts, great uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
