Sebrenda Thomas, (fondly called “Brina”), the oldest daughter of the late Mary A Miller and the late stepfather Robert L. Miller, was born August 21, 1963. Brina attended Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey. You could always hear her singing her alma-mater for Eastside when the “Lean on Me” movie was showing on T.V. If you knew the real Brina people will tell you she told you like it was and kept it real (did not sugarcoat anything). Sebrenda worked at Nauticus for over 16 +years and knew it like the back of her hand. Sebrenda took pride in her work. However, as time went on she became a shining light for all staff. However, Drew was her shining star! Brina was known for traveling, with that said if there was a casino she was there. When she traveled, she enjoyed eating her favorite foods regardless of state. In New Jersey it was the Torpedo based sandwich, White Castle, and Hot Grill. In Virginia it was her infamous Tuna sandwich just to name a few. Brina entered eternal rest on Monday March 13, 2023. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Father-Earl Milton Davis Children Damon Thomas and Shaquana Thomas; Grandchildren Markel Gibson and Peytin Gibson; Sisters-Selena Thomas, Tawanda Roach; Brothers- Reginal Davis and Markeith Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Brenda lived next door to our mother Irene for many years. We remember the many laughs we had together. She was always checking on our mother to make sure she was alright. Brenda was very thoughtful and kind. She will be truly missed by many.
