“Aunt Sarah”… Ever since I was a child, in the 70’s, she would make me feel special. Always had a kind word. Back then, I would watch her with admiration as she rode her bike for MILES around town. I think of those days as I now ride My bike for miles around town.
I love you. I Thank You.

GOD bless you and the family!

To Clarence and the rest of the family, you have our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. There is no earthly love that exceeds that of a mother. She was one of the most energetic and “fun loving” persons that we have known. She lived a blessed life and was a blessing to many. May the joy of your Lord be your strength. Our love to all.

A Prayer to the Perry Family to
fill this day with peace and Joy..Lord. as I stand on the edge of this day, grant me the strength I need to move forward on this journey with grace. Grant me the courage to travel with compassion as my companion through each hour, the humor to lighten each moment and bring light and laughter to others I meet, and the smiles to scatter along the path that stretches before me. Grant me the wisdom to recognize stones on my path and to be able to distinguish between those I can move, those I can step over, and those I need to leave alone. Grant me the calmness to accept that I don’t always have to be right, to face difficulties with serenity, and to find peace within myself. Grant me the skills and confidence to face whatever challenges and joys this day brings, and grant me the capacity to relish every moment. Knowing that even during our darkest hour, there is a silver lining in knowing God hasn’t forsaken us. Staying focused on our Lord. Amen. ❤

I met Ms Sarah Perry back in 2001. But you see, I met her daughter Gwen Cherry (Bunny), and her two sons, Donnel & Reggie in church,, while stationed in Sicily,, Italy.. I had to come back to the States (Norfolk) for school. Gwen said, You have GOT to visit my 77 year old mother. I did as instructed, and it began a wonderfully long love-ship with a very funny, loving, woman! She quickly adopted me as one of her own, which was indeed an honor! She intrigued me because at her age, she was on a bowling league! well And she was known for riding her bike all over Norfolk & Portsmouth! She would also buy mints to pass out on the public city busses when it was too cold or rainy to ride her bike! A heart of gold, an Usher well into her 80’s as well, a true servant and a local legend who will truly be missed by sooooo many who lives she impacted daily! Even in her Nursing Home, she would carefully get around to the other residents to cheer them up and say
“God loves you, and SO DO I!” She was pure light, full of joy & laughter! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
