Sandra Foreman 52, went to her eternal rest on October 02, 2018. She was born on June 16, 1966 to the late Billy L. Simmons, Sr. and Freda (Barbara) Foreman in Norfolk, Virginia. Sandra (Chi-Chi), attended Booker T. Washington High School. 

Chi Chi was employed over 20 years with the Kmart in Norfolk, Virginia and was historically identified as never taking a day off of work. After her successful tenure at Kmart and store closure Chi Chi went to work for Wawa were she was working until her death. She was recognized for her tireless dedication of service to Kmart and Wawa, receiving awards for outstanding customer service and leader of the quarter. 

Chi Chi has inspired people every day of her life to live life fully and encouraged them to be the best they could be. Her belief has been anyone can accomplish anything with a solid foundation based on her faith, health and wellness of the body and mind. She credited her courage and strength to her strong and unwavering faith in God and in recent years felt blessed.  Chi Chi was the sunshine of everyone’s day and never displayed a negative attitude, but gratitude in any situation.  Her caring heart touched many people and will leave long lasting memories. 

But most of all, her greatest accomplishments were as a mother and grandmother. Chi Chiwas predeceased by her grandparents, James and Helen Enich; grandmother, Mamie Foreman and father Billy L. Simmons, Sr. Chi Chi leaves to cherish her memories, her daughtersLaAsia Foreman and Diondra Foreman; mother, Freda Foreman;  grandson, Jontez Foreman; three brothers, Kenneth Foreman, Anthony Foreman and Billy Foreman; one sister, NaTasha Foreman; nephew, Phillip Foreman; two nieces, Jada and Danielle Foreman. Chi Chi is also survived by a host of cousins, uncles and aunts, nieces and friends.

    My prayers are with the family. Your mom was a sweet lady always made you laugh. Even though we did not talk much she always mad me laugh. She always ask about my mom and my children. She will be truly missed. This is so hard for me but I do know that god will give you strength. love you always.

    May Gods peace be with the Foreman family. This really touched me so , I grew up with Chi Chi right across the street in liberty park . She was a beautiful person , loving mother and one who did what she had to do. To the kids , brothers We We , and poogaloo and her loving mom my prayers will constantly be for your peace and good will . Remember she still will live on forever n your hearts , minds , and dreams.

    To the Foreman family, I am so saddened by the loss of your loved one. She was truly a beautiful person. I met her while her children were in school. I would often run into her at Kmart and have long conversations with her. I pray that God provides comfort and strength to the family during this time of sorrow. She will truly be missed.

Nothing and no one can replace the special person that she was and always will be in our hearts. Every thought of our past experiences, as children and as adults always bring a smile to my face.     Sending prayers to the family. God give her daughters the strength to endure one of the worst times of their life. Unexpected death of your mother. She was my childhood friend from Liberty Park to TWP and working at Kmart. She will be missed.

    My heart goes out to your family at this difficult time. Words cant express the pain and sadness of being separated from our loved ones bc of death. The bible offers beautiful words of comfort to help cope with the grief., 1 Corinthians 15:26..mans enemy death will be brought to nothing; Rev 21:4..sickness pain and death will be no more; John 5:28,29..Christs promise made to us ..May God continue to comfort you

    My sincerest condolences to Sandra’s family. I have known ChiChi since BTW. I was in shock when I found out today. To her family, be not dismayed. God will take care of you. Again, my condolences. I’ll be praying for all of you

    October 7. 2018 I met chichi in 1974 at Mary calcott elementary school I was heart braking when I found out October 2 I give my sympathy and may God bless and comfort her family especially her Mom and children.

    Ms. Sandra’s Family, I send condolences and prayers during your hours of grief. It was always so nice working with Ms.Sandra at Kmart. She recently shouted my name in WaWa, that was so nice knowing she remembered me. Please know that our memories are forever and a place where we can always visit when our loved ones are no longer here.

Just seen her a month ago and we were Reminiscing about kmart… I pray for her Family and Friends and EVERYONE that knew and loved her! Absent from the body is present with the Lord!
