Sandra Louise Outland was born on January 28, 1956 in Northampton County, Virginia. She peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Clifton Harmon and Eunice Brickhouse Harmon. Sandra was a loving sister and devoted aunt. Sandra loved reading books, magazines, sewing, crossword puzzles, using the computer and reading her bible daily.

She was known for her gentile kindness to everyone. She also loved texting and calling everyone to stay in touch. She graduated from Manor High School of Portsmouth, Virginia in 1974. She received her B.S. degree in Accounting and Business from Norfolk State University in 1978. Sandra had several jobs. During high school, she worked at the Naval Supply Center and the Naval Hospital as a summer assistant. She also was a sales clerk at the Sears & Roebuck and Company. After graduating from college, she was employed with the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. as a systems accountant.

She also worked again briefly at the Naval Supply Center as a accounting technician and Kay Uniforms as a accounts receivable clerk. She loved retail and was employed at J.C. Penney as a credit and lay-a-way clerk, a credit specialist at Montgomery Wards, a sales clerk at Smith & Welton and Walmart. Finally, she was a cashier at Super Fresh
and Farm Fresh.

She was predeceased by her mother and father. She leaves to cherish her memory her are two sisters; Deborah H. Ferguson (Lorenzo), Chesapeake, VA; Adrian D. Harmon, Portsmouth, VA; a brother, Clifton M. Harmon, Jr. (Darlene) of Chesapeake, VA; two special nephews, Darius J. Ferguson(Brittany) and Clifton M. Harmon III (Kiara); two special nieces, Alexis N. Ferguson and Monik Harmon; Dinnah Faye Bailey and a host of other relatives and friends.
