Rosa Chisholm, a retired jewelry retail sales professional and devoted grandmother. Lived in Norfolk VA for the last 14 years and was also a long time resident of Philadelphia PA. She passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on 22 December 2018 at the age of 70 while she was a patient in the Sentra Norfolk General Hospital from complications of cancer.
Rosa is survived by her children, Troy Kelley, Gary Kelley, Lakeisha Baker and Stacey Chisholm; her 11 grandchildren; her 5 great grandchildren; her 3 living siblings (brother) Leander Kelley Sr, (sister) Lucille Kelley, (sister) Libby Frasier. She is predeceased by her mother Rosanna Bell and father Henry Kelley Sr.; her 7 sisters and 6 brothers.
Rosa was born in Kingstree SC on 03 March 1948, she attend Blakey High School. She lived in Hartford CT for many years and moved to Philadelphia PA where she lived a great life, she was an entrepreneur , she owned her own cleaning business for 20 years and she loved what she did to help her customers everyday and they loved her as well. In 2004 she moved to Norfolk VA where she took on the role of full time support for her daughter Lakeisha and help to raise her grandchildren while her daughter served her country. Along with raising her grandchildren she held a career in retail and she retired from the Navy Exchange jewelry department 2017.
Rosa was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. She loved the Lord and she dedicated her life to God and learning his holy word. She loved to sing and listen to music. She loved her children and grandchildren, she sacrificed her life for the care and keeping of them all. She traveled to Sicily, where she enjoy sightseeing in 10 different cities.
