Rosa E. Benton, Better known as Ms. Rosa was born in New Jersey on April 9, 1954. She was a resident of the Hampton Roads area. She attended Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk. She settled in Portsmouth to raise her family.
Rosa is survived by her children; Shaccora Benton, Michael Benton (Denica Benton), Umika Benton, Latonya Benton, Jermaine Benton and her grandchildren; Cardijah Benton, Tykera Benton, Makayla Trusty, Jashon Miller, Alisha Trusty, Miasya Williams, Makhi Houston-Benton, Kaelin Benton, Jahiem Clarke, Tamia Benton, Tanaigh Benton, Timothy Deans, Jr., Janaisha Benton, Malaijha Benton, Javon Benton, Jasmine Benton who she truly loved. Rosa “Our Mother” Benton will be
truly missed.
