Mr Orton was such a kind man. Never did he fail to hollar across the Walmart parking lot while getting in carts or from around the corner inside. I always looked for him to speak and ask how he and his wife were doing, sometimes sneaking him some of my homemade brownies. He put a bright spot in my day everytime. I never saw him without his big smile. I would tell him on hot days to drink plenty and to please be careful and on cold days we would laugh about wrapping up. It was mostly small talk but he was a happy part of my grocery trips. I already miss him terribly as I’m sure so many others do also. My sencere sympathy to his family and co-workers.

‘Bum’, as he was affectionate called by me and many from his childhood was indeed a loving and kind human being as I knew him to be. I can’t remember him not smiling. We shared many laughs sitting on the back porch. Many rides crammed in the car back and forth to house parties, and HS games. I was so saddened to hear that he had deceased. May God rest his soul. Thank God for the fond memories. Rest on my friend-till we meet again. To God Be The Glory. Amen
