On September 22, 2018 God called Roland Edward Jackson home. He was born on March 22, 1958 in the Berkley section of Norfolk. He was a graduate of Lake Taylor High School in 1976 and was very well-known in his community. He lived with his mother, the late Fannie Jackson and his father, the late Herbert Jackson Sr., his sister, Wilma Burrus, predeceased him.
Roland is survived by his brother, Herbert Jackson Jr. (Kendra). He was also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, 11 great-great nieces and nephews, and countless cousins and friends who really adored him. Roland Jackson will truly be missed by many, but never forgotten by anyone
