From the Williams Family I send condolences to the Turner family. I met Roger through my friendship with his brother Douglas Turner, Jr. His easy smile and easy going ways drew me in and instantly I had another brother. To Jean and Mac I send my best and know that my family is praying for each of you. Doug, my man, it’s ok to weep because you’ll miss knowing that Roger is no longer there for you. Rest knowing that through it all you made his life better while he was here. Love you all, may God grant you strength and understanding through this difficult time. Roger rest in peace, I don’t say that lightly, rest. COL (R) Alexander “Carl” Williams and Jodi. P/R #3 Fall 81, “Preach”
