On November 12, 2020, Julia Miller and Rodney Solomon gathered their wings and captured their son, Rodney “Nub” Robinson at the age of 52. “Nub” was born and raised in Norfolk, VA and is well known in the Grandy Park Community. He leaves to cherish his memory his only daughter, LaKisha Robinson; two sons, Rodney Robinson, Jr. and Dontee’ Robinson; four granddaughters and soon to be five grandsons. He also leaves four brothers, one sister and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles and friends. Rodney aka “Nub” will be truly missed.

      Rodney thru the bad there was also some good. I want to thank you because of you I am a stronger person. God felt it was time you rest. Your soul is at peace now no more struggles of life.

    Daddy how did you leave me do unexpectedly, I’m your pumpkin how could you do this to me. We was suppose to get old together. I can’t wrap my mind around this you always told me when you was in pain and I’ll say don’t worry it’s gone be ok. I really miss you I keep looking at my phone to see if you called me yet . All I can keep hearing you say gone head kita im still your daddy. I know God makes no mistakes but this plan of his I just can’t understand. I love you daddy my heart hurts .

    I have been so sad since Kita called me, now he is gone. I have seen death this year it was hard for me to see the brother I grew up with gone. I pray for his children.
