On April 11, 2018, God invited one of his proudest soldiers, Robert Thomas Lucas, III to party with him for eternity. Affectionately known by many, as Lil Rob, GG, G5, Freaky 5, and Knowledge daGod, born and raised in Norfolk, VA in the Balletine Area to the proud parents, Ramona Lucas and the late, Robert L. Whitehurst, on July 23, 1990. He was the first grandson of wonderful grandparents, the late Thomas Lucas (Pop Luke), Lois Lucas, Norma Whitehurst, and Robert Whitehurst, the only surviving grandparent.
He attended Maury High School and worked as a brick mason for Trades, Inc. He became a proud father on March 11, 2008 to a son, Elijah I Judge, a daughter, Taniya S. Lucas, on July 10, 2009, and a son, Jceion M. Lewis on March 26, 2013. Left to cherish his loving memories, his brother, Kyle McGavin; two uncles, Thomas Lucas, III and Darrell Whitehurst; two aunts, Cynthia Butts and Bonnie Whitehurst; cousins, Ackura Lucas and Latiffah Butts; a surrogate aunt, Frances Calderon; and a host of other family members, extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
