Robert E. Burke

Robert E. Burke, 58, of Annapolis, MD, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was born to Raymond Burke and Viesta White. He was preceded in death by his parents, great family member, Eric Piper; niece, Mia Wade; and father-in-law, William Nelson.

Robert was married to Carol L. Burke. Robert was a loving and devoted, father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. Robert recently accepted Jesus as his personal savior.

Robert was a one of a kind man. He took in any kid that did not have a home or a family. He was a mover all his life and truck driver. He enjoyed shooting pool with his Jamaica Inn family, who he loved dearly.

He leaves behind brothers: George Raymond Burke, Anthony Dennis Burke; sisters, Melody (Ron), Rebecca Burke, mother-in-law, Alma Nelson; stepfather, Tony Calogrides.
 Robert leaves behind what he called his legions: Tony Burke, Gauge Berlind, William Burke, Princess Christina Burke, Zachary Burke, adopted son, James Champion and stepson, Daniel Webber (Amber), grandchildren; Michael Burke, Nicholas Burke, Gauge Berlind, Jr., Mckenzee Burke, Robert McCann, Carson Webber, Kelsey Berlind, Elena Duran, Queeney and Heaven Dail; three of his best friends: Dave Edmonds (Ronnie), James Blankenship (Cheryl), and Eric Lemon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and kids he took in, and a lot of friends.
