Rita J. Williams is a native of Weldon, North Carolina. She is the oldest of five children. Rita quietly transitioned late Saturday evening surrounded by love. She is survived by one daughter, Deirdre W. Sanderlin, one sister, Gail Gregg, one brother, Walter Mayo and a host of family and bonus extensions.
