   Dear Mion and Janay, we were so sorry to learn of the passing of our special friend Renee. She was such a creative person. We all admired her and will remember her fondly. Our love and support will always be here for you. There’s nothing we can say to ease your pain, but at least we can share in your sadness. If there is any way we can help you through this difficult time, don’t hesitate to call us.

   To the family,
   “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Ms. Renee, as she was fondly called by so many in the NPS system (Ruffner MS) was a joy to work with as a friend and colleague. She went beyond her duties and responsibilities to make sure that the teachers were comfortable in their classrooms. She was a genuine person true to helping people and so creative. I am sure she’s missed, but she talked about her children and her grandchildren all the time and was so proud of each of you. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories. Alma Hilbert

   May God comfort and strengthen you all during this time. I remember growing up as a child always being amazed at how Renee could braid her own natural hair. May the Memories of Renee live on.
