Regina Delores Alexander was born on September 4,1955 to the late Vivian Loclkhart and Robert Lockhart in Norfolk, Virginia. Regina was called home to be with the Lord on October 23,2021 in Norfolk, Virginia. Regina moved to Baltimore, MD when she was 10 years old and was raised by her aunt the late Millie Ann Ellis. Regina also attended First Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Leo K. Caesar until she graduated from high school. Regina graduated from Frederick Douglass Highschool in Baltimore, MD in 1975. Regina was the second oldest of eight children.

Regina had numerous hobbies such as scratch offs , watching her favorite tv shows and stories such as Family Matters, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, As the World Turns and Guiding Light Regina also loved to watch the news. Regina helped her sister- Stella with her son Reginald by picking him up from school and occasionally taking him to school also enjoyed his company on weekends. Regina had a special niece: Roshila, who was her favorite niece and Rosheila could not do anything wrong in her eyes.

Regina worked for the State of Maryland as a private duty nurse Regina is preceded by her mother Vivian Lockart and father Robert Lockhart and her aunt who raised her as her daughter Millie Ann Ellis.

Regina leaves to mourn: 3 sisters: Stella Alexander of Baltimore, MD, Paula Lockart and Recia Lockhart both of Norfolk, VA;4 brothers: William Alexander Sr., Robert Lockhart Jr.,Seward Lockhart, Richard Lockhart Sr. all of Norfolk, VA; 8 nieces and nephews: Rosheila Lockhart of Norfolk, VA, Reginald Stevenson of Baltimore,MD, Melvin Lockhart, Jermaine Lockhart, Jemel Jones, Jamar Smith all of Norfolk,VA, Richard Lockhart Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA ,Rachel Lockhart of Virginia Beach, VA , 9 great nieces and nephews, 1 great- great nephew and host of cousins and other family and friends.
