November 6, 2022 at 4:35 amMy condolence to Stella, Betty, Lee and the entire Nesmith Family. Reggie would always say to me, Mike I grew up with 4 sisters and no brothers, you and Richard, (my brother) are my brothers.
You will truly, truly, truly be missed, with tears in my eyes and a heavy sadden heart. God broke the mold when he created you, with your crazy talking self, my Brownsville, P.S. 298, Marcus J.H., Boys High School, family, My Brother.
If possible, please read this at the services as I will not be able to attend. I’d like Reggie to know this, with much love.

November 7, 2022 at 3:05 pmSo very sorry for your loss. We grew up as family on Stone Ave. I know Gerald will be truly missed. I pray peace for the family & may those special memories bring joy to your heart. The day will come when a smile will become before a tear.
Keeping you all in prayer, the Barber family

November 7, 2022 at 4:11 pmIt is with a heavy heart that I say, “Rest in peace my Brother”. I reconnected with Reggie via Michael Valentine about 4 years ago. He would say “you know, I’m younger than you” and come up with a crazy story to explain his “story”. The Glenmore School, JHS 263 and The High. Attended each of these schools as did Reggie. To the Nesmith Family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I pray that God will provide the strength for your Family to know that he is with your during your time of need! God Bless!

November 8, 2022 at 9:41 pmThe loss of a love one is such a painful experience. May Gods Grace and Mercy see you thru this time of sorrowed pain. 4 girls and one boy – is something that the Nesmith/Barber family had in common. Growing up on Stone Ave was a great experience on a many levels. Prayerfully with time – you guys will have the ability to reflect on the good times and experiences shared as children and adults. So very sorry for your loss – Rest In Heavenly Peace Gerald!! Becky Barber – Hamilton
