Ray’Quan was born in Norfolk, VA on October 13,2002. He was outgoing and very respectful to everyone. He loved his family and friends and had special bond with his grandmother.

He played all types of sports and loved playing football for AYF and UYFL Leagues. He played for various teams such as, the Rams, Redskins, Vikings, Tigers, Bengals, Titans and Wild Cats. He loved to joke around, dance, and really enjoyed eating. He was a great protector of all women, especially the women in his family, his little sister and cousin. Ray’Quan graduated May 10,2019 with his GED. He worked at Popeyes for a brief period. Ray’Quan cut lawns for the entire community, babysat for the family and was willing to help anyone move. Quan was a great
asset to his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, grandmother, Adrienne Bethea; mother, Shavonne Bethea; sister, Adrieyana Bethea; great grandmother, Isalene Anderson; Aunts, April Battle, Jessica (Alfred) McGlone and Tiyanna Joffrion; great aunt Patricia Jenkins and a host of cousins and friends.

    Quan will be missed by us, and so many others!!! He was respectful, and cared about others! No matter where he went everyone had love for him!! My daughters Cortney, Cayla, and I send our deepest condolences to the family! Praying that God give his grandma, and mother strength to get thru this time. May he Rest In Peace.
