Quincy Ray Hines was born on June 27, 1977 and was the son of Queenie and Cecil Hines. He attended Indian River High School but graduated from Salem High School in 1995. He went on to become a master plumber and was highly respected in his trade.
Quincy truly cared about what he put out into the world, both professionally and personally. Quincy’s spirit was one of understanding, optimism, and a listening ear. He understood that we all fall short every day, but we come back stronger, and he exemplified this through his life. He had a smile that could light up a room and charm that made him easy to love. Quincy loved to go fishing and could make an amazing dish with what he caught. On that note, he also was a great cook. He thought he could outcook just about anybody. Quincy was a music lover and enjoyed music ranging from the Wu-Tang Clan to old school like the Isley Brothers. Most of all Quincy loved spending time with his family, and was a loving husband, father, son and brother. Quincy truly had the heart and spirit of a king and he will always be remembered that way.
Left to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Keisha Hines; his beautiful children Tyliek Hines, Kennedy Barnes, Qamar Hines, and Qamaya Hines; his mother, Queenie Hines; his father, Cecil Hines; his brothers, Sylvester and Kendall Hines; his sisters, Jasmin and Ciara Hines; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
