Priscilla Y. Smith

On a beautiful Sunday morning, after spending an evening with family, Priscilla “Landa” Smith received her call home to be with her heavenly father.

Landa was born to Willie Mae Felton and Arcadio Escumbise on March 2, 1963, in Maryland. She spent her early years in Maryland, moving to Virginia at the age of 18. She loved putting on a nice outfit and stepping out. She loved spending time with family and friends. If you told her about an event, best believe she would be there bright and early. She was generous, but don’t let it fool you- she kept receipts. Tell her a secret if you want; she’ll hold it long enough to call someone and tell them. Her presence will sorely be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Willie Mae, Father Arcadio Escumdise, Sisters Wanda Felton, Trina Felton, and Danna Whitted.

She leaves to cherish in her loving memory her son, Anthony Hall; stepchildren, Alphonso Taylor, Lemuel Taylor, George Sean Taylor, and Tauchcheanna Beamon; brother, Anthony Felton; sister; Dionne Bazemore; long-time partner, George Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
