Paul T. Jones, Sr.

Paul Tyree Jones, Sr. was born April 18, 1932 in Norfolk, VA to the late Rev. John Thomas Jones, founder of Zion Light Church of Christ and Mother Ada Victoria Jones (Doris Jones). At a early age, he joined the United States Air Force and earned
the role of Airman Second Class Reg. Air Force, of which he was very proud of.

Paul departed this life on August 4, 2020 at Sentara Norfolk General. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jaymon Tyree Roseboro; 3 brothers, John Calvin, Leonard Thomas and Preston Roland Jones. Paul was the youngest of 12 children, 8 sisters, Mildred, Lovely, Ella Mae, Beatrice Josephine, and Margaret. He attended Chesapeake Christian Center off and on and in his later years, he worked for NorshipCo as a Dry Wall finisher. Paul loved the sport of Hunting and even knew a lot about guns.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion of 40 years, Linda Roseboro, one son, Paul Tyree Roseboro; one daughter, Paula Jessica Roseboro Jones, daughter in law, DeShea Roseboro; two grandchildren, Camille Asia and Xavier
Tyree Roseboro and a host of relatives and friends.
