Paul Stephen Barnett was born on December 23, 1956 to Linda and George Barnett in Springfield Massachusetts. He was one out of six children. Paul was a U.S Navy Veteran as an Equipment Operator. With a host of Military Awards. He worked hard and provided for his family. He was united in marriage to Linda Barnett on May 15, 1978, In Staten Island, New York, where they lived and started a family together. Paul loved family gatherings, he was skilled at grilling, and loved making others laugh. He had stories for days. Loved his grandbabies would move heaven or hell for them all. He was very tough but didn’t sugar coat anything for you no matter who you were. Did his best for his family. He is known for sitting down like a father figure to many and giving life lessons in very creative ways but made sure we understood his point. In his final days he wanted us to learn to stand no matter what the situation was. He showed us through his fight with cancer. He stood like a brave soldier and would not give in until he could show his family this last lesson.

 He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George and Linda Barnett and his brother, Michael Barnett. Left to cherish his precious memories is his wife, Linda Barnett and their children, Raheen Lipscomb and his seven children and grandchildren, Larkeysha Williams her husband and her four children, Nat’e Barnett and her husband and their four children, Jewlett Hirschman and her husband and four children, Paul Barnett Jr. and his wife and three children, and Frachesca Barnett, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Paul will surely be missed but never forgotten.
