Patricia Marlene Beavers was the daughter of the late Robbin Holmes-Wilson and Fred Wilson. Patricia graduated from First Colonial High School in June 1999, and attended Tidewater Technical Institution, earning the distinction of Certified Medical Assistant. Patricia loved the medical field and served over 20 years as a medical professional. Patricia was a child of God and loved the Lord; prayer was first and foremost in her life. Patricia loved to sing, enjoyed singing in the church choir in her younger days.
Patricia embodied the title of “mother”. Her girls were her world, and she loved them with her whole heart. She stressed to them the importance of family and was their biggest and fiercest advocate. There was absolutely nothing that she would not do for her daughters. Her legacy will live on through their lives.
Her close relationship with her daughters was borne from her extremely close relationship with her own late mother. Patricia was a true ‘momma’s girl’, and their bond was like no other.
To honor her memory and legacy is her husband Carl Beavers (Donny), her two beautiful children Cianna Beavers (Mossy) and Ciarra D. Beavers (Fatty); Mother and Father in-law Charles and Lillian Beavers. Three significant cousins, Iris Lee, Patricia Marshall, and Marlene Lomax. A loving aunt, Lisa Taylor, and uncles Geoffrey Taylor, Evan Holmes and Keith Holmes.
Sister-in-law Blanche Beavers; Brothers-in-law Barry (Pam) Mitchell, Rodney (Bobbett) Beavers, and Desean (Teiloni) Beavers. Three stepchildren, Paige Beavers, Teiara Powell-Norton and Carl Privott, and five step-grandchildren. Godsons Syiah Austin and Takhii Pollard.
Four treasured sisters, Lawanda Lacy, Teneshia Lewis, Chavon Leaks, and Kendra Miles, and, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
