Ojetta Flower Fleming-Weaver

Sunrise: May 17, 1984

Sunset: May 10, 2023

Ojetta Flower Weaver was affectionately called by many friends, “Flower” or “O.J.” at work. She was born in San Diego, California and later moved to various other cities and states, due to father being a Master Printer in the Navy. Flower was a very smart woman and loved by everyone. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She would further her education at Tidewater Community College. Flower received employment with Navy Federal for 16 years. She was loved by all her co-workers and anyone she came in contact with. She always had the most beautiful smile that would brighten anyone’s day. Flower’s heart desire was to have a baby. She and her husband of 13 years, were blessed to conceive and birth, Dela Bayne Weaver in 2016, 1 pound and 6 ounces, a preemie that fought for her life. When Flower became ill with lung complications, she was placed on the list to receive a lung. Sadly, she would never receive her transplant. But we find solace in knowing that she fought for her life. Her presence will truly be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband – Jeremy Weaver; Daughter – Dela Rayne Weaver; Father – Marion Fleming; Mother – Mila Fleming; Sisters – Corinda Barnes, Mila Fleming Magalina Speller; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends that will truly miss and always love her.

Rest in paradise baby girl.
