September 7, 2023 at 12:00 amI will never forget you… You reached out to me during the loss of my brother Ed. The kind words that you had for me will never be forgotten. When everyone else, moved on, you continued to checkin years later. I will hold your words close to my heart as you helped me keep my head up. To your wife, sister and mom, please know that you guys had a real man in your lives. I a sure you know better that me. Barnard was a great guy with a kind spirit. Rest well my friend… If by chance you see that big teddy bear, enjoy each other until we get there. Hold a seat for me.

I will indeed miss my friend. GOD blessed us to have met in Japan during our Naval service and everyday since, I had valued our frendship. Thank you for all the times together as well as keeping in touch from afar. This world has truly lost one who makes her better.

September 8, 2023 at 12:11 amMy sincere and deepest condolences to the Robertson Family. I first meet Norris 25 years ago when we served in the same command. As I got to know him, his love of God, family and friends was quickly evident. Norris was such a kind, generous and loving person. Always uplifting and encouraging others. My wife passed away over three years ago and Norris was a constant source of support. I will miss my friend. May you rest peacefully in the sweet arms of Jesus. Love you
Brother.

September 9, 2023 at 5:53 amYour watch is over dear friend! The rest of your shipmates will take it over from here until we meet again. You were and will always be a great roommate (me with a newborn and 3 guys), a great coworker (always mentoring and helping), a big brother ( when advice was needed), but overall a great friend (no matter what)! You even checked in on my parents like they were your own.I was just glad that I was able to speak with you just days before you were called to glory. I will truly miss you and pray for your family’s strength because I know what they have lost. Much love to all! Rest now shipmate! We’ll take it from here until we meet again!

September 9, 2023 at 3:04 pmI don’t even know where to begin. I watched you grow up from little boy into a man. Whenever you were home from the Navy, you never missed a beat stopping by to visit me, Moma and my sons. You and Kimberly were like my little brother and sister. Rest well, my brother…God needed you on the other side. Sending sincerest condolences and prayers of strength and comfort to Lula, Kimberly, Vernell, the Broadus and Robertson families.

September 9, 2023 at 7:21 pmMy sincerest condolences to the Robertson family. We knew one another since elementary school and always encouraged one another through high school graduation. We reconnected in life because we son chose the path of the U.S.Navy. In your fitting way, you were full of knowledge and encouragement. I will forever be thankful for your kindness. You was loved by many and will truly be missed by all.
