Norma Lee Dyson

Norma Lee Dyson was born August 16, 1948 to the late Norman A. Wilson and Rosa Lee Jenkins in Norfolk, Virginia.  She transitioned into Eternal Life on March 12, 2021.  Growing up in Norfolk, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and Ann’s Beauty Academy.  Norma was employed at One Price Cleaners in Virginia Beach and retired due to her health.

Her presence in many lives will be greatly missed!  Norma leaves a legacy of love to celebrate her life:  two devoted children, Dion Wilson (Letitia “Tish”) and  Dondrell Dyson; two wonderful grandchildren, D’Vonte J.(DJ) Dyson and Christopher J.(CJ) Wilson; two great grandchildren, Dominik Dyson and Da’Loni Carney; four sisters, Victoria L. Jennings (Ronnie), Raleigh, NC, Charlene Jones (Dalton), Sterling, VA, Phyllis Stallworth, Baltimore, MD, Beverly “Rose Cherry” Fuller, Chesapeake, VA; three brothers, John T. Gordon, Jr., VA Beach, VA, Tyrone P. Gordon, VA Beach, VA and William H. Gordon, Hampton, VA; devoted relatives, Carolyn Wilson, Chesapeake, VA,  as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.  Her kindness to others and her love for her family was a beacon of light within her family’s “special universe”. She wanted just one more family gathering!

      I’m truly sorry sorry for your loss 😔. I know what you’re going thru and it will get better. She was like a 2nd mother too me. And, she will truly be missed. But, I know she’d installed all of her good qualities into you Dondrell.

    Although our paths hasn’t crossed in many years, I remember the good heart of Norma. I don’t know her children but, I have to tell them how great a person she was thought of and truly deserving of her place in Heaven. My blessings and hope for peace.
