Norma Lee Dyson was born August 16, 1948 to the late Norman A. Wilson and Rosa Lee Jenkins in Norfolk, Virginia. She transitioned into Eternal Life on March 12, 2021. Growing up in Norfolk, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and Ann’s Beauty Academy. Norma was employed at One Price Cleaners in Virginia Beach and retired due to her health.
Her presence in many lives will be greatly missed! Norma leaves a legacy of love to celebrate her life: two devoted children, Dion Wilson (Letitia “Tish”) and Dondrell Dyson; two wonderful grandchildren, D’Vonte J.(DJ) Dyson and Christopher J.(CJ) Wilson; two great grandchildren, Dominik Dyson and Da’Loni Carney; four sisters, Victoria L. Jennings (Ronnie), Raleigh, NC, Charlene Jones (Dalton), Sterling, VA, Phyllis Stallworth, Baltimore, MD, Beverly “Rose Cherry” Fuller, Chesapeake, VA; three brothers, John T. Gordon, Jr., VA Beach, VA, Tyrone P. Gordon, VA Beach, VA and William H. Gordon, Hampton, VA; devoted relatives, Carolyn Wilson, Chesapeake, VA, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Her kindness to others and her love for her family was a beacon of light within her family’s “special universe”. She wanted just one more family gathering!
