Nina L. Shannon

I will lift mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, Psalm 121:1-12

Nina Shannon was born August 11, 1966 to the late Evine and Audrey Shannon in Norfolk, Virginia.  She attended and graduated from Norfolk Public Schools. She was employed by Alorica for several years. She was a member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church where she attended regularly as her health permitted. She really loved her pastor and first lady Dr. Joseph E. Lamb, Sr. and Mrs. Joyce Lamb and her St. Thomas Church family and felt all the love from them. As a child until her early adult life she was a member  of Beulah Land A.M.E. Zion Church in Ivor, Virginia.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Sekyna Shannon; her son, Brandon Shannon and her brother, Milton Davis. Nina leaves to cherish her memories her son, Breon Shannon of Augusta Maine; one daughter, Nikitta Shannon of Norfolk, Virginia; 2 twin granddaughters, Selena and Chanel Shannon and one grandson, Josiah Shannon of Augusta, Maine; a special cousin, Darlene Blanche Lamb whom she thought of as a sister; a Godmother, Barbara J. Gary; one Goddaughter, Jasmine Bond and granddaughter, Arielle with a host of other relatives and friends. She also leaves behind her miniature yorkie Squeakers who was her heart, the love of her life and her very best friend. He was right there with her until the end.
