Netria Antoinette Hines, 41, went home to be with God on June 28, 2025. She was the daughter of Tonya Gaskins and the late Walter Hunter.

She was a graduate of I.C. Norcom High School. She received her associate’s degree from Tidewater Community College. Netria also served as a home health care provider.

She is predeceased by her aunt, Evangelist Catrina Nichols; uncle, Kelvin Hines; grandfather, Joshua O. Hines, Jr., and grandmother, Nancy Hunter.

Netria leaves to honor and cherish her memory her fiancé, Ronald Armistead; daughter, Cierra Armistead; sisters, Shakia Griffin and Patrice Hines; brother, Joenathan Hines (Tashawna); grandmother, Roberta Hines; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of devoted family and friends. Also, her best friend, Cierra, and godmother, Ciara Sunkins.

I will miss her inspirational posts on Facebook as well as her support for Autism Awareness. She will be greatly missed, gone too soon but God had need of her. She had finished her assignment she has ran her race and finished her course. Rest well beautiful you’ve fought a good fight.
