Elder Milton Willie Hunt, 73, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Elder Hunt was the pastor of Grace Holiness Church and was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Elder Hunt was born on April 2, 1950, in Portsmouth, VA. He would go on to be a lifelong resident of Portsmouth, graduating from Norcom High School. He met, married, and loved, until her passing, Sister Valerie Denise Hunt, also a Portsmouth native. Together, they brought their children up in the holiness faith, teaching them always to put God first. 

Elder Hunt is survived by his eldest brother, Ronald D. Hunt of Portsmouth, VA. His children, Kennard N. Hunt (son) and Latosha S. Hunt (daughter-in-law) of New Orleans, LA, Christine L. Hunt of Portsmouth, VA, Brian C. Hunt of Portsmouth, VA, and Trevon Spiers of Norfolk, VA. His grandchildren, Jordan P. Hunt (17), D’airian T. Johnson (13), Jayden A. Hunt (13), Gregory D. Johnson (12), Kennard N. Hunt Jr. “KJ”(12), and a host of beloved saints, family and friends.

    You guys have been my neighbors for many years and and through the years I have watch all of the kids and grandchildren grow into a beautiful family. Mr. And Mrs. Hunt always would lift your spirits up as well as their children. I will continue to pray for the healing of the Hunt family.
