Ma Millicent, my heart is heavy right now, I keep asking myself ” why her?” but I know the answer to that lies deep within my soul, a soul that you have touched from our initial meeting and beyond with your sunray like smile and contagious laughter. Although I will miss your physical presence, I know that you have left your legacy of love, acceptance, strength, and understanding behind, you will remain living in our hearts. Everytime I see even a glimpse of sunshine peeking at me amongst cloudy days, I will be reminded of your smile. Thank you for being an awesome grandmother to all three of my children, I will forever be grateful that God crossed our paths. I love you always and forever. ??

To my family; the Wilsons. My heart was sadden to hear the passing of my childhood friend Millicent. As you all know we grew up together. Everything happens for a reason. We don’t always understand why, but the Lord knew best. I didn’t make the funeral for I’ve been very sick. I love y’all so much and will continue to pray for the family. I hope to see you soon. With much love and admiration Beulah Dawson.
