Michel Edward Gaffney, the son for the late Scott & Helen Gaffney Sr was born on December 11, 1952 in Key West, Florida. God allowed us to borrow one of his greatest inspirations for 67 years before calling his servant home. Mike received his early education from Oakwood Elementary and was a graduate of the class of 1971 from Norview High School, where he was on the NHS football and basketball teams. He was also the lead singer of the gypsy wine band. He served in the U.S. Air Force in supply after the military he worked for Navy exchange for several years doing visual Merchandising after leaving NEX, he began working at Lazy Boy furniture and then move on to Ashley Furniture as sale manager where he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, Leroy I Gaffney, Sr.
He leaves to honor his memory his life parent, Rhea Kujat, one daughter, Stephanie Everett Lomax, one son, Brian Gaffney, one brother, Scott Gaffney, Jr. one sister, Helen Gaffney Lynum, two granddaughters, Gabrielle Everett and Jordan Lomax, one great-granddaughter, Skai Everett, three nieces, Lorri Gaffney, Anitra Walker, Latasha Lynum and two nephew, Leroy Gaffney Jr. and Zebedee Lynum the third and a host of cousin and friends.

You were the funniest and most sincere at the same time. How we all prayed for your during this trying time. Now, you are in the most amazing of places, with the Lord in Heaven. You can’t ask for better than that. I will see you again. I know the Lord will touch all of our hearts with your memories as we go along.
