Michael D. Watson

Sunrise: January 17, 1959    Sunset: December 5, 2018

On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, Michael D. Watson was called home to his eternal rest. He was born on January 17, 1959 to Alma Lee and David Watson in Philadelphia, PA. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son, cousin, and friend.

He was a member of Divine Trinity Gospel Ministry of Chesapeake, VA, under the leadership of Pastor Rev. B.C. Thomas and First Lady Lenora Thomas. Michael was an ordained Deacon. He was loved by his church family, but most of all, he trusted God and stood on His Word.

Michael served in the Navy for 18 years, then joined the QVC family over 25 years ago, where he was well loved.

Michael was a lovable, humble, and very social person. He always had a story to tell, and he always had Christ to share. He would bend over backwards to help anyone in need.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife-Glenda Watson; his sons-Christopher Watson and Antonio Watson; his stepson-Dominique Shearrin; his stepdaughter-Christina Shearrin; 7 grandchildren-Ashton Watson, Andrew Watson, Aiden Watson, Donavin Shearrin, Malaysia Smith, Dakotah Shearrin, and Mason Shearrin; his brothers-David Watson III (Belinda Ford) and Clarence Watson (Renee); his sister-Roxie Ann Watson; one uncle, Nelson White (Carletta Bundy); a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins in New Jersey and the Eastern Shore; extended family of sisters, nieces, and nephews in South Carolina and a host of friends.
