Michael A. Edmond

Michael A. Edmond was the oldest son to Carrie L. Streeter Edmond and George A. Edmond. He was raised in the Bronx, New York. A fact that he was very proud of. Michael loved music and he was always excited to attend concerts anywhere on the east coast.  He attended Dewitt Clinton High School in the Bronx. He also studied Business Administration at Strayer University. Once he moved to Virginia Beach, he worked at the town center and later at Sentara Health Care. He loved all his New York sports teams, including  The Jets, The Knicks, and The Mets. He enjoyed reading and he instilled the joy of reading to his grandson. Michael will be remembered for his sense of humor, being a loyal friend, a loving husband and a loving grandfather. He will always be cherished by his loving wife, Melvina L. Edmond; his devoted grandson, Za’kary Boyd; stepchildren, Desire I. Johnson and Gary A. Johnson II(Ashley); siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
