Mary Estelle Boone was born on October 24th 1936 in Ponsmouth Virginia to the proud parents, Jerry M. Lamb and Mary Jones-Lamb. She was the youngest of four children and was endearingly called Baby Mary. She was a very caring and loving person. She had a strong faith in God. She was raised in Ponsmouth, VA. She had a career at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where she retired on February 5th 1993 after 25 years of service. She loved bowling and traveling. On March 8th 197 4 she married what would be her lifelong husband, William E. Boone. They were together for 4 7 wonderful years. She was the proud mother of 7 children. Michael, Mario, Carlton, Angela, Tim, Tasha, William Jr. She went to be with God on July 22nd 2021 and will be greatly missed by all whose life she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry M. Lamb and Mary Jones-Lamb. Two sons Michael Maben and Carlton Maben, a daughter Angela Walton. Her brothers,Jerry Lamb, James Lamb, and Thomas Lamb Sr. Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband William Boone, Her sister Clementine Johnson of Philadelphia PA; Children Mario (Mary) Slade. Timothy Jackson, Tasha (Kevin) Boone, William (Keisha) Boone Jr. Adult grandchildren Ashley (Antonio) Baptist, Tyjuan, Shaheem, India, Calise, Taliesha, Nicole; Sisters in law, Berrie Lamb, Gloria Lamb, Shirley Anderson, Elizabeth Barnhill, Berrie Jones, and Dorothy Johnson; and a host of younger grand children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and Friends.
