Marie Alice Miller was born on May 4, 1921 in Lucy, Louisiana to the union of the late Nelson Meadoux and Louise Sorapuru Meadoux. Mrs. Miller was married 39 years to the late Dolphus Miller. As a loving and caring homemaker, Mrs. Miller raised
two loving daughters in Weldon, North Carolina, and dedicated her life to the caring of family, siblings, and friends.
When she moved to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Marie brought and spread that same joy, love, and compassion to her three grandchildren and great grandchild. Her self-confidence and inner strength were shown in her calm mannerisms and respectful way of interacting with others.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her five siblings; Zenobia Augusta, Noelia Gauthier, Pearl Pierre, Louis Meadoux and Lester Meadoux. Marie leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children, Adelina Moore (late Leonard Moore) and Rita Edwards (Carl Edwards Jr.); grandchildren, Nikki Moore, Carl Edwards III, and Shawn Edwards; great grandchild, Kennedy Moore. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews as well as extended family and friends who adored Mrs. Marie Miller

June 1, 2018 at 8:21 amI am sending my condolences to this wonderful family. Please keep the memories of Mrs. Miller alive, this can help to ease your pain of sorrow.
Please remember that she is not suffering but is asleep in death waiting to hear Jesus voice, (John 5 : 28 & 29)
We can see her again, right here on a beautiful Paradise earth in perfect health and with the prospect of living. forever.( Isaiah 33:24 & Psalms 37;29)
I hope and pray that these Scriptures can bring you a measure of comfort until the fulfillment of them

May 13, 2019 at 3:42 pmmetropolitanfuneralservice.com is solid, well-researched content. I just now passed this on 5/13/2019 to a coworker who has been doing a little research of his own on this subject. To say thank you, they just bought me a drink! So, let me express my gratitude by saying: Cheers for the meal!
