Marie Alice Miller was born on May 4, 1921 in Lucy, Louisiana to the union of the late Nelson Meadoux and Louise Sorapuru Meadoux. Mrs. Miller was married 39 years to the late Dolphus Miller. As a loving and caring homemaker, Mrs. Miller raised
two loving daughters in Weldon, North Carolina, and dedicated her life to the caring of family, siblings, and friends.

When she moved to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Marie brought and spread that same joy, love, and compassion to her three grandchildren and great grandchild. Her self-confidence and inner strength were shown in her calm mannerisms and respectful way of interacting with others.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her five siblings; Zenobia Augusta, Noelia Gauthier, Pearl Pierre, Louis Meadoux and Lester Meadoux. Marie leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children, Adelina Moore (late Leonard Moore) and Rita Edwards (Carl Edwards Jr.); grandchildren, Nikki Moore, Carl Edwards III, and Shawn Edwards; great grandchild, Kennedy Moore. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews as well as extended family and friends who adored Mrs. Marie Miller

metropolitanfuneralservice.com is solid, well-researched content. I just now passed this on 5/13/2019 to a coworker who has been doing a little research of his own on this subject. To say thank you, they just bought me a drink! So, let me express my gratitude by saying: Cheers for the meal!
