Marcus T. Cross was born on January 11, 1982 in Portsmouth, VA to Rosalyn Cross Sivels. He departed this life on June 15, 2020 at his residence. Marcus attended Norfolk Public Schools where he graduated from Norview High School. Marcus played on the basketball and baseball team. He was a member of the Norview Marching Band. Marcus favorite (NFL) team was the “Washington Redskins”. Marcus last place of employment was The Life Touch warehouse, where he was a forklift driver. All his friends know him as “Way Bro” and they call him that because even though he was from the other side of Norview, he was still their Bro, round the “Way Bro”, and they also called him “Sticko” because everything he touched stuck to him.
Marcus is survived by his loving daughter, Quianna Scott; son, Justin Cross; and his granddaughter Kaylanni Scott; sisters, Yolanda, and Kendra Cross: his loving grandmother,
Sandra Cross. Marcus leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memories two special friends, Marquita Scott and Devan Smith.
