On Monday, October 21, 2019, God in His infinite wisdom called Malachi Marshall to eternal rest. Malachi was born on June 24, 1952, Knightdale, NC, to the late Calvin Marshall, Sr. and Inez Marshall, and came to know the Lord at an early age. age, Malachi was captain of his high school football and baseball teams and later played college football and had a very brief career with a semi-pro team.
Malachi was a member of First Baptist Church South Hill, and formerly sang in the Men’s Choir and played on the Adult Men’s
Baseball team. Malachi was retired from Plasser American Corporation. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Marshall; grandsons, Cason and Chase; brothers, Jimmie Farmer, Sr. (Linda), Calvin Marshall, Jr., and Robert Marshall, and a host of other relatives and friends.
