On Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:26 pm, God with His infinite love entered into the soul of Lynn Scott and said, “My Child, it’s time to receive your wings and transition to Glory”. Lynn Scott was born on September 25, 1957 to the late Ralph and Rebecca Scott.  Lynn was also predeceased in death by his youngest brother, Vince D. Lynn was an Avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He knew all the team players, stats and proudly wore the team wear. Lynn was a honorary member of The Friendly Riders Motorcycle Club of Wakefield, Virginia. Lynn loved to take his daily walks around the Cavalier Manor Community visiting, chatting and laughing with his neighbors. On May 17, 1984, Lynn received the Portsmouth Parks and Recreation Department Youth Service Award presented by the Mayor for outstanding Volunteer Service.

As a young teenager, Lynn’s favorite artist was Michael Jackson and he could perform all of Michaels’ steps, especially the “Moon Walk”. When Lynn became a man, he loved Gospel and Quartet Music.  Some of his favorite artists were:  Same Cooke, Pastor Shirley Ceaser and The Mississippi Mass Choir.
