Lynessia Yvette Gaddy

Sunrise: February 20, 1965

Sunset: June 26, 2020

Lynessia Yvette Gaddy or “Sweetie” as she was affectionately known by family & friends was born on February 20,1965. She held a management position at Sam’s Club & attended Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, Virginia. As a child she earned the nickname “Sweetie” from her uncle because she would often crawl around in her oversized pajamas resembling the Sweetpea character in Popeye cartoons. Sweetie definitely lived up to her name, never hesitating to lend a helping hand or shelter to love ones in a time of need. Sweetie had a generous & loving spirit along with a smile that would make everyone feel loved & embraced.

Lynessia is survived by her father Herman C Haynes, mother Georgia E Haynes, husband William M. Gaddy daughter Ciara Wilburn; son, Macio Haynes; grandchildren, Axia and Jakob; siblings, Tommy, Sandra, Gary and Tina along with a few aunts and uncles.
