September 22, 2022 at 7:46 pmMy Uncle Hammer was one of kindest men I know. There aren’t enough character spaces in this field for me to type all of the wonderful memories that I have of him. Uncle Hammer loved his family and if he considered you a friend.. you were family. He will truly be missed and I will cherish his memory forever. He is such a big part of the woman I am today. I spent a lot of time with him during my childhood and I can almost count on only two hands the number of Sundays that I did not see him up until I was about 18 years old. I pray that my Aunt Frances and mu cousins will find comfort in knowing that he earned this rest. My Uncle Hammer is an American hero whose story is still unsung. He had a heart of gold and be loved the Lord. Rest Well Uncle Hammer, I love you always,
Your niece,
Santina Brown-Ribeiro

September 23, 2022 at 8:27 amMy uncle Hammer was a absolute sweetheart….. he always called me “Lil Vonnie” growing up as a child with that smile that would light up a room. My greatest joy and memory is when he was a patient at a dentist office I worked for…… he was so proud to say to the Dr and staff “his niece was getting him right”. I will cherish these memories, take your well deserved rest uncle Hammer, love your niece “Lil Vonnie”
