On July 12, 2019 at 6:20am, Lucy Walker Took her last breath. Lizzie was born February 21, 1933 to the late John Moore and Georgiana Smith Moore in Bremo Bluff, VA. She was also predeceased by her husband, John Anthony Walker, Jr. Lucy
Walker was a member of St. Paul Baptist Community Church in Brooklyn, NY and joined New Hope Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA. Lucy and John A. Walker, Jr. raised five children, Gregory Moore, Cynthia M. Wilborne, Roxanne Wilborne, Wayne E. Wilborne and John A. Walker, III. Lucy Walker raised Richard D. Davis, Jr., Darryl Jacobs, April Mary Elizabeth Wilborne, Barry Wilborne and Ronald E. Wilborne. Lucy also in between raising children, attended the College of New Rochelle. Lucy left four children in VA, Cynthia, Roxanne, Wayne and John (Petey); grandchildren, Richard Davis, Ronald Wilborne, Darryl Jacobs, April Wilborne, Anthony Boyd, Jessica Wilborne, Anthony Farrar, Merecedes Jones and Fard Elijah Jones; great grandchildren, Brian, Javon, Anthony, Ameila, Jazmine, Odin, Adonnis, Amillio, Aaliyah, Seth, Cyros, Kylie, DJ, Chenya, Monte, Avery, Abram, Phoenix, Charlie, Skyler, Joe Joe, Nasir (deceased) and John A. Walker, IV; siblings, Richard and Joanne Moore, Clara Moore, Agnes and Gene Hyman, Audrey Moore, Ruth and Calvin Johnson and Doris Moore.
