Sunrise: September 8, 1940

Sunset: July 11, 2020

I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

Lou Ethel McBride was born to the late Cora and Charlie Felton on September 8, 1940 in Edenton, North Carolina. She loved the lord and served faithfully as the Mother of her church. She attended Restoration Family worship Center for over fifteen years and loved every minute of it. Tootsie was a solider for the Lord who did not mind recruiting people and telling them about the goodness of the Lord. She loved laughing and having fun with her family. So, on this day we celebrate her life and the love she had and shared with her family and friends, as we entrust her into the almighty arms of God.

Lou was predeceased by James David, Sr., William McBride, and Victoria McBride. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, one daughter, Barbara McBride; two sons, David McBride (Melissa), and Johnnie McBride; two sisters, Estella McGilberry and Cynthia Green; one brother, Eddie Felton; eight grandchildren ;elven great grandchildren whom she dearly loved; three special friends, Gwen Evans, Tasha Lassiter and Nikki Wilson.
