Lois Anita Mills left this world suddenly on February 7, 2022. Lois was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on October 31, 1945, she was 76 years old. Lois graduated from high school in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Lois once work in the gift shop at the Opportunity House as a volunteer. She received many awards including an award for Professional Service. Lois enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and keeping things very clean.
She leaves behind three daughters, Sonya Lawrence, Jessica Mills, Esther Mills, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchild. She will also be missed by Willie Austin who lovingly cared for Lois over 15 years, Ollie Scudder (who Lois lovingly called “Ms. Doll”). Ms. Scudder loved Lois and assisted in Lois’s care. We all will keep memories of Lois close to our hearts. There will be a private service.
