Lisa Charlotte White-Porter, born January 2, 1965 in Portsmouth, VA, passed peacefully on March 1, 2024, in her Portsmouth home at the tender age of 60. She fought a courageous battle with cancer, shielded by The Lord’s coverings and family love. Lisa cherished family, often hosting family gatherings, cooking large meals that everyone loved. She had a zest for life that included a huge sense of humor, fashion sense, and a love for Jesus Christ. She is survived by her mother (Mary F. Copeland), life partner (Johnnie Mills), daughter (Tekia White), sons (Domonique White & Antonio White), siblings (Joseph White, David White, and Patricia Davis), 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
