Dr. L. Deonne Richardson Facada quietly entered Paradise in the early morning of Saturday, April 14, 2018. She was a cherished daughter of Evangelist Lillian P. Richardson and the late Bishop Callie Richardson. Her legacy of braveness and faithfulness to God and Family will be left to her son Chase and daughter Sydnee. Both were her pride and joy. Her sisters D. Carol Harris and Ceshia Canty along with brothers Callie, Ronald, Carl, Celvin, and Craig Richardson are grievously sorrowful.

April 16, 2018 at 7:19 pmGod has a bigger mission for his angel. Dr. Lillian Deonne Facada has graced so many lives with her intellect and wisdom. I’m honored to share every precious moment being a sounding board and a little sister as we talked about our challenges raising children and their college plans. To the family, please accept my deepest condolences; I hope to be a blessing to you just as Deonne was truly a blessing to me.

April 16, 2018 at 9:57 pmI went to Deonne’s father’s funeral a few years ago. I did not expect this. She was full of life, ambituous and very personalble. She was the life of her department. God bring her and her family peace. May she rest in peace.

April 17, 2018 at 2:16 pmDeonne became my friend when I started working at ITT Tech. She had an infectious smile, and kept the office on its toes with her never ending pranks. We enjoyed sharing shopping trips, best restaurants, and more importantly, how the family was doing. I pray that the family can find peace in the wonderful memories she created.

April 17, 2018 at 6:39 pmMy best friend of 46+ years, my sister from other parents, my prayer partner, my approved hang out buddy, my balance, my heart that allowed me to just be Thommie is already missed! Oh how the Hampton Jazz Festival will not be the same without you & at least talking about the lineup. The Superbowl, Spring & Summer Donnie imprompru gatherings will not be the same without your last minute request for devilled eggs. Donnie, it is God’s will that you received His ultimate healing in His presence, leaving our presence so soon. So now we no longer pray for you, but for your children, mother, siblings, and extended family knowing that God provides. Your excellence, inspiration, strength, energy, calm, laugh, and humility are much appreciated and will never be forgotten!

April 18, 2018 at 2:31 pmMy wonderful and spirited friend for over 30 years. You took me in as your sister and friend and we traveled up and down the highways together searching for adventures. Even though time passed between us seeing one another, when we got together is was as if time had never passed. I am missing you today, tomorrow and years to come but your legacy will forever live on. Our laughs, your “Wanny Wan” reminders, our cries, our wonderfully fun times will forever be embedded in my heart. Your inspiration for me to be better and to follow Christ changed my life more than you know. Donnie, to know you are present with the Lord and finally free is a wonderful joy that we all hope to one day know. My prayers will forever be with your Daughter and Son, your mother and siblings and family at this time. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your space and time, your friend and Miss Daisy, you will always be to me. I love you and see you soon.
