   I would always remember your father, my uncle as a caring and kind man. There would never be another man quite like him and his memory will live on forever.

   Sorry for the loss of your loved one. I have found this scripture to be most comforting. I hope this will bring comfort to you as it has to me. Isaiah 25:8- He will swallow up death forever.

   Had I known that the last time I saw you…would have been the last time I would hug, hear and touch you…there is nothing I would have done differently. From Virginia to Philly to New Jersey, from Hawaii to Mississippi, from New Orleans to Maryland, from the Blues Festival in Greenville, dancing at Adrienne’s club in Jackson, to the Essence festival in NOLA, even sitting on the patio in Nashville eating Haitian Pumpkin Stew Learned a lot from you…how to forgive, how to find a smile anywhere, to have God in you instead of on you, how to save a quarter or two, and how to just be good people all the way around. We lived, we laughed, we loved. We will catch up when we see you again…..
