Lester A. Green

Lester A. Green was born April 22, 1972 in Emporia, Virginia to the late Chester and Elnora Green.

Lester slipped into the arms of Jesus in his sleep on January 15, 2020.  Lester, your job is done down there my son, your new home with Me is ready.

Lester worked with Higgerson Contractor, Inc. over twenty years.  He loved his job.  He loved the people he worked with.  He would talk to you about his job all the time.

Lester had a heart of compassion for those he felt were less privileged.  He was a good man.

My brother, my brother Lester, I’m going to miss you with everything in me.  I love you. You were my best friend.  Until we meet again my brother, your baby sister, Sharon.

Lester was predeceased by his daughter, Avatiena Wesley and two brothers, Michael Green (Cynthia) and David Sneade.

He is survived by his wife, Renata Wesley; daughter, Trevona Green (his heart); grandson, Ge’Marion Baxter; three sisters, Sharon Green (Black), Barbara Davis (Johnney) and Helen Speller (James); brothers, Anthony Thomas and Rickey Webbs, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
