July 9, 2020 at 12:56 pmWow, I’m speechless. My deepest condolences and my prayers are with your family. Almost 12 years ago I walked with Leslie and I was a struggling single mom. I was offered an interview for a better paying job and after putting on my best owned outfit Ms. Leslie took a look at me and said she would be right back. She left work and went to the Kmart up the street and purchased me an outfit to wear so I could look my best and feel more comfortable. I’ve been with this same company she helped me get into for over 11 years. Her spirit, kindness, personality and no BS manner will always be remembered in my heart.

Leslie,
Although you are no longer with us in body, your spirit will remain with us, forever. You prepared us all for your departure, instructing us all of your expectations as we continue on as the Deas(e) family.
May the LORD grant you perfect peace and comfort as you soar above us until we meet again.
Enjoy your new journey, CUZZIE, ????!

July 12, 2020 at 8:34 pmLet me start by saying that you are one of the sweetest people I know. I will not speak in pass tense because you will always be a part of my life. Thank you for always being available, being that big cousin that was needed, for always being a true “DIVA”, for always commanding respect, and when YOU entered a room all eyes were always on you. You carried yourself with so much class, and yes oh so beautiful inside and out…I LOVE YOU cousin Leslie thank you for sharing your room with me every summer on 15th Street and your Pepperidge Farm pizzas every time I pass the frozen section I always find myself smiling. Until we meet again my November Queen we are 3 days apart, and I promise to keep your spirit alive by saying it like it is and with a twist….Rest Easy
