Larry Hart, Jr. was born in Germantown, PA to the late Leroy Hart and Doris Adams. As an only child, Larry enjoyed spending time with his father, either playing baseball or going deep sea fishing. After graduating from Germantown High School, be briefly attended Temple University. He later joined the United States Navy and served 4 years, in which he became fluent in Japanese and Tagalog. After serving in the military, he met his wife, Nancy Perry and they were married on December 24, 1968. During their 35 years of marriage they had two daughters, Rycy and Rhiana. Larry was a devoted father who spent a lot of time with his daughters, either playing tennis with them, taking them to various events or traveling to different places. Larry’s passion for traveling led to places such as France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland. Larry had a fulfilling career working in aerospace for both the Rockwell and Lockhead Companies and was fortunate to work on the space shuttle. Another passion that never left Larry was his love for God and the Bible, and anyone who was lucky enough to meet him would soon learn that about him. One true blessing is that he remained strong in his belief in God throughout his entire life.
